côte&ciel FW23 Editorial: The Next Step in Design Sophistication
Parisian brand côte&ciel continues to solidify itself as a serious contender in the ongoing race of fashion.
Time and time again we have seen the brand maintain its incredible stature as a luxury bag and accessory brand, but also embrace evolution and reinvent itself as it towards the future. From its recent AÓOS range, using twisted and pulled materials to create organic and elegant shapes to its incredibly robust classics that have been on the backs of creatives across the world, côte&ciel continuously reminds us that the only steps they take are ones that project themselves forward.
With their Fall Winter 23 showcase we see no change in this. Premiered with an editorial that collides industrial atmosphere with avant-garde artistic flare, the French brand invites us into an intimate view of their upcoming products. Here we see ultimate sophisticated styling, bringing together effortless elegance with futuristic nuances that allow the models to sit at the crossroads of an otherworldly planet hopper to your modern fashion-conscious trailblazer.
The set design sees wires strung across a concrete environment adding depth and mood but never draws away from the attention of the meticulously designed bags. We can see all classics from côte&ciel, whilst also being invited to take a sneak peek of their upcoming reimagings. Most notably, the new style AVON is an expandable backpack that allows its storage capacity to be gradually increased by unzipping and unclipping various sections throughout. Alongside this comes the OBION: a large duffle bag that can be carried in the hand using the fixed handle or across the body when an ADDA strap is attached.
This season côte&ciel looks to connect you with their products more. A range of petit accessories accompany the collection that does exactly this, allowing more interconnection between classic models to add versatility and flexibility
