The cuisine here is very diverse, ranging from high-end sushi to cheap izakaya dishes. There is also a whole other side of food, the wild stuff that you may see on Instagram or YouTube every once in a while.
Today we show you one of the craziest things you plates of food you can get in Tokyo, more specifically the craziest bread. This spot is Coffee And Toast in Sangen-jaya.
Sangen-jaya is a mix of everything you need in Japan. Places to hang out, places to eat, places to live. A short walk from the station, Coffee And Toast is a must-go in the area. The name might make it sound like a relaxed cafe, but be warned, you won't be able to relax when you see the menu. Take one look at their Instagram page, and you'll see that they take everything to the absolute extreme [the quotes in the captions are a plus].
As the name suggests, they serve toast, bread & pastries, but often times you won't even be able to recognize what the food is. Entire loaves of toast carved out & filled with ice cream, an entire lobster stuffed into bread, and donuts with what seems to be a liter of cream. We aren't quite sure of anyone who could finish these monster servings, but one thing is for sure: it is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
