Capturing the Japanese Bōsōzoku Scene One Bike at a Time - God Sound You by Federico Radaelli

If you're a long-time follower of sabukaru, you'll know we are big fans of Japan's unique Bōsōzoku culture.

Once a culture associated with youth biker gangs, the flashy bikes get a book treatment with the release of "God Sound You" by photographer & friend Federico Radaelli.

A self-taught photographer, Federico has been documenting the Bōsōzoku bike scene for many years. With his love & passion for everything auto/moto, the images Federico has captured give us a new perspective on the subculture, allowing for the closest, rawest look into the scene we've seen yet.

When it comes to Bōsōzoku or any subcultures that are slightly misunderstood in Japan, Federico has documented not only "God Sound You", but other Japan-unique subcultures including Kaidō racers, Dekotora [decorated customized trucks], sumo wrestlers, or ex-yakuza. The whole sabukaru team tips our hats to Federico as well for all the exclusive content he has created with us.

To celebrate the release of the book, Milan-based SPECTRUM presents a dedicated capsule collection together with Carhartt WIP, consisting of a tee-shirt, long-sleeve tee, and a hoodie, featuring prints of Bōsōzoku shot by Federico. The 272-page velvet-covered book was be available May 31st, 6:30 pm at SPECTRUM, along with a book signing with Federico Radaelli.

There's no way 272 pages of pure Bōsōzoku bike goodness will disappoint you.
